If
you are wanting to create a fairly straightforward site (i.e. not a
copy of Facebook!) then I can show you how how, with one‐to‐one lessons
at my home in Leckhampton. I can also advise you on design, copywriting, and how to market it effectively.
Until recently, creating an attractive, useful website involved learning complex software programs, or the joys of computer coding - html, css, javascript etc. However, it is now easy to create your own website - and to update it yourself - without relying on expensive web designers and web hosting companies.
- Save literally hundreds of pounds on web design fees. Tthe cost of a website is one of those 'how long is a piece of string?' questions, but a 'typical' 10-page budget website is likely to cost anything from £300.00 to 800.00.
- Three 2-hour one-to-one tutorial sessions at my home in Leckhampton, Cheltenham, will be enough to get you up and running. You will then have the skills to expand upon and update your website/s whenever you wish.
- To then learn how to attract visitors to your site, use all multimedia features and market your brand and your skills online, two or three further sessions are advised. But you can have as many or as few as you wish.
- No technical skills needed - just basic computer skills like dragging and dropping.
- Affordable and inexpensive - reasonable hourly rate and no annual hosting fees!
- Have your own self-managed website - you won't need me to maintain or update it for you.
In lesson 1 you will start your own website, with my guidance. By the end of the 3rd lesson you will have the knowledge and confidence to finish your website and have it 'go live'.

In addition to helping you create the website you want I can advise on graphic design, colour, logos, copywriting, photographs and attracting visitors to your website through SEO (search engine optimisation) and via social networking. I can also give you links to the best free-of-charge online tools for helping you achieve your aims.
